FAQ What is Signage Net?
 

Signage Net consists of the manager software being installed on a Manager PC, and the remote player software which is installed on any number of Player PC's. Player PC's communicate with the Manager PC over a regular LAN or Wireless LAN. A single Manager PC can control an unlimited number of Player PCs on a given network.

   
FAQ What are some of the features of Signage Net?
 

Allows unattended playback with no local user intervention required.
Play industry-standard graphics/video files like flash, MPEG, AVI in one continuous loop.
Use standard multimedia file formats, assemble playlists for each location and distribute this content to the individual displays.
Add and delete content on a real-time basis and time-specific schedule.

Try installing Microsoft .Net Framework Ver 1.1 and Microsoft Data Access Components Ver 2.7

   
FAQ Can Signage Net do live updates of News, weather, sports scores, etc.?
 

Weather updates are sent obtained daily and are customised for each location including major International cities. All information is obtained from trusted sources like the National Weather Service.
Stock Updates include data from NASDAQ and DOW JONES.
News Updates from various independent news agencies to show a combination of International, National and Local News.
Sports Updates include NBA, NFL and NHL with the day's events and previous day's results of all major matches.

   
FAQ Does Signage Net do any sort of reporting?
  Signage Net will obtain information from log files received from each remote player. Using the report generator, it can provide a customised daily report based on the parameters you provide including Start Time, Shut Down Time, Current Playlist, Total Number of Impressions, etc. These can even be exported to standard Excel spreadsheet format file.
   
FAQ How many news scrollers can be displayed at one time?
 

Up to 2 scrollers at a time.

   
FAQ How long can the player run for?
 

The player can run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week nonstop.

Our twisted-pair interfaces or AV extenders can be used to distribute video and audio signals to a single display or for multiple displays a distributor and receiver combination can be used.
